Holding degrees from both Australia and Singapore, proficient in three languages and with extensive travel experience, Marla is a true citizen of the world. She has worked as an English and Literature teacher, private tutor, writer for a variety of online journals and magazines, manager in a statutory board and director at a wildlife NGO. In one of her previous roles, Marla worked as university admissions consultant, using her astoundingly broad life experiences and her effective interpersonal skills to equip clients with the tools necessary to realise their true branding and potential. Currently, she teaches English, works in Environmental Education, and volunteers in Conservation. Marla endeavours to inspire others to venture outside the box and open their minds to the many exciting perspectives the world has to offer. She believes that education, soft skills, and language are essential to improve the state of the world and the people in it.
